OPENING CEREMONY

The opening ceremony of the Symposium shall be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 9:00 hours in LecturexHallxF of the Civil Engineering & Geosciences building of TU Delft on Stevinweg 1, 2628 CN  Delft.

LECTURE SESSIONS

The next lecture sessions shall be held in the Deltares auditorium, starting on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 14:00 hours. The Deltares building is adjacent to the Civil Engineering & Geosciences Building of TU Delft on Stiletjesweg 2, Delft.

  • Transportation to TU Delft
    A courtesy bus service shall be provided for the participants between the Museum Hotels and the TU Delft. Everyday, the bus shall depart in the morning in front of the Hotel at 8:30.

  • Train Information
    From Schiphol (the airport of Amsterdam) a train runs to Delft, via Den Haag (The Hague), every 15 minutes.
    The train platforms at Schiphol are found a level below the main plaza: tickets should be purchased from machines found on this plaza before descending to the trains.
    Train times can be obtained from:  www.ns.nl, choose from Station Schiphol to Station Delft.
